Overview
Lumen Atelier is an architecture studio whose work is all about light, material and silence. They needed a website that felt like walking through one of their buildings: calm, spacious and quietly surprising.
The challenge
Their previous site buried beautiful photography inside heavy carousels and slow page loads. Projects were hard to browse on mobile, and the studio's voice was lost in a generic template.
The approach
I designed a scroll-driven narrative where each project unfolds in chapters: full-bleed imagery, measured typography and subtle parallax that follows the light in every photo. Everything runs on a headless CMS, so the team publishes new projects themselves, with images optimized automatically and no developer in the loop.
The outcome
A portfolio that loads instantly, reads like an exhibition and finally gives the work the space it deserves. The studio now publishes new projects in minutes instead of waiting on agency tickets.
